Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. She comes from the fourth Roberts family to have been a resident of Atlanta. This began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. Her father took keen interest from a young age in the theater. While he was a pupil in Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he participated in numerous performances. In 1953, he joined the Air Force. While stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he appeared in a production that he performed in with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple got married and, in 1956, their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter was a student at Tulane University at New Orleans In 1957, the city of Louisiana where they had separated from the Air Force of the United States. The family relocated in 1960 into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou began producing a children's television program in Georgia, Decatur called Bum Bum and His Buddies. The production was funded by the couple themselves. The Actors and Writers Workshop was created in the year 1964 and ran for 6 years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) and Julia (also also known as Julie) in this time.
