Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. She's English but her father is Nigerian. She went to The Brit School when she was 14 years old. In London, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was obtained. During her time at the academy, she performed in numerous stage productions such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career in the film Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. After this success, Madekwe appeared as Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared in six episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. In 2008, she had the opportunity to play the part in the role of Bambi on The ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in three and two series. Madekwe also played the lead character in How to lose friends & alienate people and be apathetic, which premiered on Sony Pictures Entertainment back in the year 2008. Her credits in the theatre are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe made her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes on The CW, and was eventually ended. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge from February 2011. After being a regular for the initial two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to quit the show following her appearance on the first episode in the season's third. The actress portrayed Tituba on the show Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play baseball during the summer and played hockey in winters. Ashley did not walk, but she danced, so when she was 2 1/2 years old she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. That was the start of Ashley's passion for dance. When she was in High School, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, acrobatics, lyrical, musical theatre and hip-hop. Every important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the distinction of "top soloist".
