Angela Sun is a journalist sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and TV host. Angela Sun is a multi-award winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. Her degree is in Communications and Sociology from the University of California. Sun's surfing abilities were exceptional and she took part in numerous pro-am tournaments. She was sponsored by major companies, including Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. She was launched into entertainment because of the recognition she was awarded. Later on, she went into the field of filmmaker, reporter for investigative reporting and sportscaster. Sun has worked for many channels, primarily as anchor. Sun was a Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. In 2012, she was host of American Ninja Warrior with Matt Iseman & Jonny Moseley. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute for the 2014 season. Sun is the only Asian American to ever appear in the ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has appeared in a variety of films and has received recognition and praise for her acting prowess. Sun has appeared in movies like Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009), Shackled 2005 Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. Sun's feature-length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a film about the negative effects of pollution caused by plastics on oceans. She wrote, directed and produced the film herself.
